The name

Two wings. One idea.

Diptu draws inspiration from Diptera, the order of two-winged flies, and Dipturus, a genus of marine skates. Different creatures, connected here by a shared fascination with movement.

The machine illustrated is a conceptual artwork, not an existing product or prototype.
